Tryouts

Tryout Procedures

Fall tryouts have been scheduled.  Please note that student-athletes cannot tryout without a completed 2008-2009 player packet.  Player packets are available for download at http://lincolncharter.org/Athletics/forms.htm. 

Physicals will be offered for no charge at the Denver MS/HS campus on August 5 from 8:00-11:00 AM.  Please RSVP with Mr. Bryant if you plan to attend these physicals.

Fall tryouts are:

MS

Volleyball – girls only.  All tryouts will be held at the Denver MS/HS campus gym and will run on August 8, 11, 12, 13, and 14.  Times TBD.

Cross Country – girls and boys.  All tryouts will be held at the Denver MS/HS campus and will run on August 11, 12, 13, 14 and 15.  Times TBD.

Soccer – co-ed.  Tryouts will be held on August 8, 11, 12, 13, and 14.  Times and location are still TBD.

Cheerleading – girls only.  All tryouts will be held at the Denver MS/HS campus gym and will run on August 11, 12, 13, 14, and 15.  Times TBD.

**Cheerleading practices will not interfere with fall sports, therefore a girl may tryout for both cheerleading and a fall sport.** 

HS

Reminder:  Open gyms for volleyball and basketball are still running, the calendar is available online at www.lincolncharter.org.  Coach Reed, the MS soccer coach, will conduct open field for those students interested in MS and HS soccer on Fridays starting on July 11.  Open field will be at the Lincolnton soccer field on July 11 from 9:00-11:00.
