Logging Hours - students
Lincoln Charter School is proud to annouce that we are now a Certifying Organization for the Presidential Volunteer Service Award. The President's Volunteer Service Award recognizes individuals, families, and groups that have achieved a certain standard - measured by the number of hours of service over a 12-month period or cumulative hours earned over the course of a lifetime. Hours that are submitted for Learn.Serve.Engage. will be a part of the PVSA.
We are pleased to announce a new logging system for all LSE hours. This system will allow you to manage your hours online. You will have access to all hours logged in the system through a secure login. Previous years LSE hours will be added to your record once you have registered and set up an account.
Instructions for setting up your individual account:
Log on to www.presidentialserviceawards.gov
Click on: "Track Your Hours"
Fill in all the necessary info on the page, including name. If the student is under 14, please click on the box that says "Are you 14 years of age or older?" in order to set up your account. You do not have to list your age range until your account has been created (under the Profile Tab).
IMPORTANT: Once you have set up your account, you must add our "Record of Service Key" in order to be linked to Lincoln Charter School.
Click on the "Profile" tab.
On that page there will be a box where you can enter our Record of Service Key number: ZCK-37551. Also, please enter your LCS-issued e-mail (grades 6-12 will receive this e-mail by the first week of school). If these steps are not followed, LCS will be unable to see your hours. In this area you can also update your age range.
