Soulfest

  • Soulfest

Soulfest is a vibrant celebration of African American heritage, culture, and community, held annually at Lincoln Charter’s Denver Campus in honor of Black History Month. This event brings together students, families, and the broader community for an afternoon of live entertainment, interactive exhibits, and engaging activities for all ages. Soulfest serves as a platform to highlight the richness of Black culture, fostering unity, education, and joy through music, art, history, and shared experiences.

Each year, Soulfest features an exciting lineup of events, including gospel choir performances, natural hair demonstrations, and a highly anticipated soul food truck cookoff. Attendees have also enjoyed hands-on experiences, such as an interactive screen-printing station for custom Soulfest shirts. While the specific activities may evolve from year to year, the heart of Soulfest remains the same—celebrating Black history, strengthening community connections, and creating a space for cultural appreciation and learning. Lincoln Charter looks forward to hosting this meaningful event each February, bringing people together in a spirit of celebration and unity.
